kennedysj427 0 Posted March 4, 2009 Should I be scared ? I have not been banded and I don’t know what to think of this as crazy as this may sound I’m afraid of what the new me might be like ? I love the way I am now but I want to stay healthy for many more years and by my track record that wont be long if I don’t do something and soon . That is why I have begun this journey . But I’m like a puppy with my tail between my legs .. For years I have said I can do this by myself and I have but I have not had long term success
Rangergirl 0 Posted March 4, 2009 I know what you mean. I am still waiting for approval. I am anxious and the waiting is hard then I remember why I want to do this...the sweetest two things in my life, Caleb and Caden, my grandsons. I have in the past "been there, done that, never got the t-shirt", done it on my own but always wind up in this same spot. I know everyone here has been in the same place and will be a great source of help and information. Good luck to you and remember, we can do this and we can do it together. kennedysj427 0 Posted March 4, 2009 Aww thank you for your replay and your words mean so much . And I think if would be great to have someone to talk to about this . I love my family and they support whatever I do . But I have felt a little alone in it all . We talk about my surgery and stuff like that but they cannot relate to what I’m going threw and what is to come in the future . So I would love to have a buddy to talk to and relate to together we stand strong!
