conchita 0 Posted March 3, 2009 Hi I grew up being called Conchita la Vaca (Connie the Cow) due to the fact that I have always been chubby. I have struggle with my weight all my life loosing and gaining on and off. I am getting ready to do my lap band this coming May (2009) in Juarez, Mexico. I am excited and scared at the same time mostly about pain. I had a breast reduction 4 yrs ago and I balloned to 200 pounds after that. loke81766 0 Posted March 3, 2009 I had mine installed on the 13th of Feb. Went into the hosipal at 6am. Was home at 3pm that afternoon and never took any pain medication. I didn't need it. I was sore sitting down and getting up but it was more of a abdominal muscle soreness. This got better every day and finally went away completely after about 3 days.
