BeneProtein claims it's tasteless. But is it really? And does it have any weird smell to it?

I have issues with the smell and taste of the Protein supplements I have no and I was looking for something that I can put in Soups (I'm still on liquids) and get some extra Protein from.

If anyone has any other ideas, I'd be THRILLED to hear them.

I honestly think its pretty tasteless. I too have issues with taste and smell of Protein powders. I had it in chicken and beef broth and the saltiness of the broth was what I tasted. I drank one scoop in 1 cup of 2% milk and sugar free carnation instant Breakfast this morning. This was a whopping 18 grams of protein in 1 cup of fluid! It tasted great!

I haven't heard of beneprotein. Where can it be purchased?

Beneprotein is odorless and tasteless. I have used it in Soups, juice, whatever to supplement my Protein intake. I purchased mine at beneprotein.com but I think you can get it at Walgreens stores. Another great way to add protein is powdered Peanut Butter. I like to add it to chocolate or Cookies and cream Protein Shakes. Check out bellplantation.com. I am not trying to sell anything, just hoping to give you some options! Hope you find the info helpful.

Maybe I'll try the beneprotein then. It sounds better than some of the other stuff and I just don't know how I'm going to get what I need (94 grams of protein) when I can't stand the drinks.

That Peanut Butter sounds really interesting. I'll have to look into that.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.
