New to the site

Hi All - I am new to this site and wanted to say hi. I just had my insurance approved for surgery and now I am really scared. I have read some posts about the pain after surgery and the acid reflex. I would appreciate any thoughts or advice anyone may have. Thank you! :thumbup:

Hey beach! *record scratch* Uh....that didn't sound too good. Better try that again. Hey Beach Mom! Congrats on getting insurance approval, and welcome to Lapbandtalk. As for the pain, I personally didn't think it was too bad. I was sore for about 3 days, but not too sore. I only took my pain medicine at night to help sleep. I went back to work on the 4th day, and it was ok. I haven't had a problem with reflux, but I never had reflux problems pre-band. Good luck!
