Bet you're sorry you voted for Obama now

Recommended Posts

In an interesting twist of history, Barack Obama signed the largest expansion of the federal government since the New Deal on March 23, 2010, exactly 235 years to the day after Patrick Henry's famous speech to the Virginia House of Burgesses in 1775.

In part, Henry's historic message emphasized that, "If

we wish to be free...we must fight!" Many join Patrick Henry in that sentiment, and pledge to

fight ObamaCare and its attacks on our freedom with all

of our might!

ObamaCare was unconstitutional from the beginning.

Mandating that health insurance be purchased by every person or their employer is a classic example of arbitrary power the Constitution was designed to guard against. Congress lacks the authority to force the American people into making insurance purchases. Period.

And what American actually wants to face the IRS, including their 16,500 new agents, who will act as the bill's enforcement agency?nst it !t!

And what American actually wants to face the IRS, including their 16,500 new agents, who will act as the bill's enforcement agency?

The fallout from ObamaCare is already being felt.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the detrimental affects of "reform" are already being felt in the private sector.

Caterpillar, for instance, said the new healthcare mandates would cost the company at least $100 million or more in the first year alone.

Medtronic, a medical device maker, warned that new taxes on its products could force it to lay off a thousand workers.

Verizon has joined those businesses sounding the alarm

about serious adverse consequences.

Americans DO NOT want ObamaCare!

A recent Rasmussen poll reported that 52 percent of Americans trust the insurance industry to run health care more than the federal government. This is a particularly telling statistic considering how Americans feel about insurance companies!

Other national polls taken after ObamaCare "passed" reveal that a clear majority of Americans favor its repeal.

Every pro-ObamaCare legislator will be on

their home turf over the spring break with the "talking

points" of why the President's bill is "good for America."

Yet never before has the will of the people been so

manipulated, ignored and marginalized as in the long

battle over this bill!

Such legislators are in for a rude awakening. Americans

nationwide are expressing OUTRAGE at the overt manipulation

and total lack of integrity in the Obama/Reid/Pelosi axis

of power.

They proved to all Americans that they were willing to do

ANYTHING to get this control of our medical system under

the banner of "change."

Don't be deceived. This socialistic power grab

was always about our government's takeover of

two more industries - health care and student

loans. This was NEVER about improved healthcare

or access to education loans. (Mathew Staver, Founder and Chairman

Liberty Counsel)

Assuming the 12 Attorney`s General (All right wing Republicans) including I might add, the idiot from my state of Florida, who is just pandering to his base to assure his upcoming race for Governor is in the bag,(if) the petition that the newly passed Health Care Reform Bill is ruled by the US Supreme Court as unconstitutional, why is it lawful that I and the rest of the American Tax payers must continue to pay the health care cost of those that (Choose) not to want to buy Health Insurance. Who the hell do you thinks pays those hospital and doctor bills eventually through the Medicare and Medicaid Programs? Oh, I almost forgot, you lunatics what to repeal those laws as well and let humans opt to continue to get sick and die without medical attention. Now thats an All American idea if I ever heard one!

Oh, yeah about that repeal and replace, NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. The saps in congress and idiots running for office have put out ads saying they want to do this against the healthcare bill. Even the republican in congress have said it can't be done since Obama will not be signing that order and you need a serious majority in congress to do so.

But guess what, retards on the fringe will donate money to these liars on that premise. Watch Fake Noise put rethuglicans on from here to November that will tell that lie. And yahoo's are going to believe it. I say bump their heads until they bleed..........

We are now socialist, one step away from communism, the red menace.

I wish Mr. Bush could have run again, he would have wiped the floor with that Osama.

Look at this economy, it was never this bad under Mr. Bush

Spend, Spend, Spend, Who's got the money? Aww, it's alright we'll make more

First off. Obama didn't crash the country. Bush SR. crashed the country. It will take many more presidents to pull us out of this hole then just Obama. I am not sorry at all that I voted for Obama. What I am sorry for is having to watch the tears and listen to the complaints of those that voted for both the Bush's because as I said then and I will say now, "You will be sorry". And now everyone is paying for it. And it's NOT because of Obama.

Exactly. To listen to those stupid teabaggers you'd think everything was great under bush and the deficit, unemployment and the bad economy started on January 20, 2009.

Ok k-man, as far as I'm concerned the fact that you only chew certain foods makes you an honorary elitist.

Actually I think you probably still get a few nutrients from that process. Man it sure seems like you've broken the weight loss code. And I for one am very impressed!

QFT.

If we really want to take an honest look at things. This all started even further back than Bush Sr.

Real wages for working class people in this country (USA) had risen every decade from 1820 until the 1970s. It's been stagnant ever since.

Why blame the government or US presidents? Big business runs this country regardless of who is sitting in the Oval Office or which party controls congress.

If requiring health insurance is unconstitutional then why isn't it unconstitutional to have a law that requires me to have liability insurance for my carl?

Wonderer I think you're right about one thing. Money rules everything in this country including our politicians. So how do we hope to fix it?

Regulation - not deregulation that the Republicans have always favored.

You can't be serious. Obama is as capitalist as they come and would not have gotten the nomination of one of the two pro-business parties had he been otherwise.

Obama is No Socialist

I am a card carrying Socialist BTW. So I do not view the label "Socialist" or "Communist" as an insult.

Other than replacing the current free market, for-profit Capitalist economy with a cooperative, non-profit Socialist economy, I do not know.

As long as things are the way they are, politicians will never be able to pass a law without having the stamp of approval from the elite of this country. (Regardless of what the people want.)

Agreed, big business runs the country. Historically, when the very few at the top prosper and everyone else suffers there's a revolution. What's ironic is that many folks who are suffering vote Republican because they've been duped into believing the Republicans will end their suffering. In fact, the powerful conservatives at the top don't give a damn about the common man. They're very clever about disguising that fact. They employ Fox news to shout at us about "gun control", "taxes", "abortion", "gay marriage." Add a little racism, religion and fear to the mix and they manage to keep us distracted from the real problems that plague us and the greed that prevents us from being a better society.

TV, radio, magazine ads, billboards are also shouting us all the time to buy buy buy. We march off to work like ants to produce goods and services that provide big profits to the richest, then we spend our measly paychecks on those goods and services. We're the human machinery that's fueling the greed. Advertising leads us to believe that all this "stuff" will make us happy, the new opiate of the masses. Meanwhile we're taking anti-depressants and tranquilizers to make it all bearable.

Exactly! :) And then these big corporations scream like a stuck pig when they have to provide something like health care for their workers that make the profits possible.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

      2. BlondePatriotInCDA

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
