Hello everyone! I've just found out today my insurance will let me have lapband instead of the full gastric bypass and I'm tickled to death! I wanted lapband from the beginning and was told nooooooo. I'm scared, happy, excited, apprehensive, ..... all that stuffs. I live in Tennessee, and I'm way glad I've found this site to be able to talk with others who have/having this surgery and change of life. I should be having mine about the end of March or beginning of April. I look forward to further reading on this from people who have BEEN THERE or are going there. I don't feel so dern alone! Congratulations! I hope all goes with your surgery. I had the surgery in October and I am doing really well but it is a huge change, but a change well worth making! Best of luck!
