AngelWithHorns 0 Posted February 16, 2009 Hey Rubes, I'm 20 days post op now and its great that you are not vomitting because you're not meant to!!!!!!! Feeling no restriction is normal because the band isnt inflated yet at all, i feel no restriction so use will power to ensure i dont overeat! Just stick to the meal plan your nutritionist gave you and you will be fine  You're experiencing normal things nothing to worry about :cursing: Goodluck xx
danamorris 0 Posted February 16, 2009 hello! You will not have restriction until you start getting fills and it might not be your first fill. It could take a while. I am 6 months post and I still dont have restriction like I really need to lose weight. You have to use will power. Good luck!
SunnyRachel 7 Posted February 16, 2009 I had a slight bit of restriction post-op, (3cc in band at time of surgery.) After my first fill, only 1.5 cc, I noticed a big difference. This is your healing month. Like the others said, just follow your rules and be gentle to your pouch, and you will do just fine! Congratulations on your surgery!! babbs3772 1 Posted February 16, 2009 Good morning, no need to be concerned If you had hard core restriction and were vomiting 5 days out from surgery then you should be concerned. This is the time to heal - I had a hard time with this too - I couldn't wrap my mind around the fact it would still be a while before I was at my sweet spot - I wanted it yesterday lol. It took me 3 fills and 6 months to get to where my band is at its sweet spot, some people take less and some take more of both time and fills - it is all so very different. shelley2b 0 Posted February 16, 2009 You're not meant to feel restriction post-op, but whatever you do, stick to you post-op diet... really important for proper healing.
