tiffanye 0 Posted February 12, 2009 I am two week post-op. I was looking at my big incision and I messed with a scab and it came off..pretty easy...anyway now there is a hole there! I am freaking out. Its not bleeding but I am worried it won't heal or it might make the rest of the scar rip open. I think my doctor only used the glue. Is this going to be ok anybody know? HeatherO 7 Posted February 12, 2009 If it is not bleeding or oozing in any way and it looks like it is healing well, I wouldnt worry too much about it. Just give your doctor a quick call in the morning. At two weeks post op the majority of your healing is done and you should just be careful. Definitely avoid picking at any other scabs though. You will already have a scar just by having surgery, but it will look nicer in the long run the less you touch it. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
ZiggyLove 0 Posted February 12, 2009 Dermabond was used on my incisions as well and as far as I know it will come off when it's ready. You hastened it along a bit, it seems, so yes ask your doctor but you are 2 weeks post-op so its probably not that big of a deal. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
