hi all! i am a newbie here and not even sure i am doing this right but need to talk to someone..the surgeon that is going to be doing my band does not do a posterier stitch to hold the band in place and i thought this was common procedure for the band..am i wrong about that or do i have a need to be concerned?i am very concerned(worried really) that my band will be a failure,does ayone see a problem with this or am i just making to big a deal of it?please i need your help! soon to be banded,going next week for my greenfield filter surgery to follow..also could you please email me with your concerns if you have any because i dont know if i can find my way back to this location on this site..thanx! kathy:(

      The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

        Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
