:confused:I had gastric bypass surgery in 2004 and had not lost all the weight that I desired by one of the Physicians in the (New Start Program). I began my weight loss journey at just over 300 pounds and did attain my weight loss goal of 100 lbs. I was later banded by a Physician with (Ready for a Change) in 2007 and have since lost an average of 40 lbs. I usually work out 3 times a week and eat relatively healthy. I think that I may now be pregnant and I am smelling food, feeling moody and I want to know if this is normal. I have cravings for certain foods. I really want to know when I should stop eating because I am a good cook, I enjoy eating food and I don't want to overdo it. I don't feel full either unless I wait for 30 minutes or an hour. I am just hungry at various intervals, is this just mental? Should I get another fill? My last fill was this year with one of the doctors with the Fill Centers USA. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for your assistance:smile:

Welcome Naomi,

First I would find out if I was pregnant or not. If not go get a fill. Yes it can be head hunger. We all go through it. But now we have an awesome tool to help us take control of it. Good luck and keep us posted:thumbup:

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
