navysister2004 0 Posted February 8, 2009 Ok, I was curious if anyone else was having this issue. I am very good about drinking all my Water during the day, but in the morning I wake up and my mouth is SSSSOOOOOO dry. I've even tried drinking more water then we are required (78-100) a day and that doesn't seem to help. Anyone have any advice??
RestlessMonkey 7 Posted February 8, 2009 Maybe you sleep with your mouth open? Have you been checked for diabetes? Too you may be getting too much Water...although the amounts (I assume ounces?) you are drinking aren't that high. If you're worried, ask your doc. It is probably nothing but better safe than sorry! UNLESS...you are just one or two days post op. They give us something to "dry us up" and it takes a while to get back to normal. navysister2004 0 Posted February 8, 2009 Well, I'm on soft foods/ pureed diet so I wasn't really sure..... Yeah I've been checked for diabettes and was negative. I do sleep with my mouth open but I've never had this issue before I was banded (1/20/09). That/s why I thought I would ask someone else....
