mouse08 0 Posted February 8, 2009 Hang in there. I almost wanted to quit myself. I posted on your last blog. My Dr. told me it was gas. Mine lasted for 7 weeks after my surgery. There were days that I was in tears curled on my bed. I was taking gas x and it didn't help much. Everytime I ate or drank it would hurt worse. It always felt like a dull pain, until I would eat something, then I thought I was going to pass out from the pain. I had my lap band in Oct 2008 and now I am so glad I made it through the bad time. Most people go back to work after a few days. I had to take two full weeks off of work, then I was still miserable at work. But let me tell you I would cut off my leg now if someone told me I had to trade my band or a leg. Be strong, it does get better. Thinking of you.
