Band surgery scheduled for 2-20-09

I am SO ready to begin this part of my life. I am ready to be fully dedicated and to take this journey one day (and one meal) at a time. I wish everyone out there who just had it done or is getting ready to like me all the success in the world. We all deserve it. I am so tired of people looking at me different. I know I will never be the 110-115lb person I was thru my 20's but I'd love to get back to around 145lb. I would be thrilled. I am currently weighing 225lb and at only 5'1" that is WAY too much!!!! :bananalama:

Anyway, I'm glad a banded friend of mine told me about this website. I think it will be an awesome tool to help me along. I hope I can help others too.

Me too! I just found out yesterday that I am booked for the 20th, it surprised the heck out of me - I expected a longer wait. But I am not complaining, I can't wait to be a bandster! Good luck to you all and best wishes for a quick and easy recovery!
