Lady VS 1,147 Posted March 5, 2013 I too am a teacher; however, my mother has clothes in her closet in all different sizes so I was fortunate to be able to wear some of her clothing for a little while. I did by me a couple of pants on sale mostly at Sears and Walmart because well I'm cheap. LOL Now, I have purchased a couple outfits a regular price now that I'm 69 pounds lighter. I still have at least 12 pounds to reach my goal.
honk 780 Posted March 10, 2013 I was unemployed and then working from home so my clothing situation was horrific! When I got a job and I had to go to the office everyday I had to buy 5 pair of pants because everything I had was from like 100 lbs ago. Keep in mind I was 1 of those people who said that they would never ever ever buy clothes from a second hand store. Now it's where I buy most of my clothes. I would look for store located in 1 of the wealthier town or nearby because they have the best clothes. I also find the store Savers to be very organized and very clean and enjoyable to shop in. Last week I bought a fleece jacket Lands End for 5 dollars A Talbots wool sweater for 5 dollars and a pair of corduroy pants for a $1.29. Conversely as you're losing get rid of your fat clothes and donate them to 1 of the stores. Places like savers will give you a coupon for donating so you can take that and get money off the clothes you're buying!
