Hi there. I am just beginning my journey. I've been to my first seminar which was informative. I have been overweight my entire life, and am going to an endocrinologist to see if there is anything that can be done on that front that I have not already been treating. I have a wonderful friend that had the band done last summer and has already lost 60 lbs!:) She looks fabulous! I also ran into another childhood friend that is at the same step as me,,, maybe she and I can qualify for a group rate! :thumbup: lol.

It's always fun to do things with a partner.

I tried to convince dh to get surgery, but he wasn't biting.

      The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

        Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
