Hi I'm from NJ had Dr Goldstein came home same day. Feeling great. Drinking liquids and ice pops sugar free Jello. As of thursday I started on pureed foods. No problems there. I'm loving the new V8 vegetable pureed Soups. I've lost 9 pounds to date. How is everyone else doing? I'm hungry thou any one else?

My understanding is that lots of people are hungry at this point. It gets better as you get restriction though.

Yep, I am getting hungry too! I need some different things to mush!!!:tongue: I dont go for first fill until Mar. (first week):cursing:.....seems like so far away. Dr. did say call should I need to see him before that. How do I know it is really time to go see if I should recieve a fill?? Do I wait until I am reaching for my children's arms to eat!!LOL:unsure: Help Help!

I see my surgeon on Friday. Do you think I will get a fill that day or is it just a look at the incisions? I'm down to 212:thumbup:

This going to be your first visit back?? I went one wk after and now have the Mar. appt for first fill. Tell me are you on soft foods and what have you tried??? Good luck, maybe you will get the fill on Friday???

Cool job on the 12 lbs lost. I saw 219 on my scale, that's 9 lbs gone......bye bye....:cursing:

I hope I get a fill sooner tan later. I did this because I don't want to be hungry all the time. I hadthe surgery and I'm hungry all the time. I'm doing pureed foods right now. I wanted a piece of bagel so bad the other day I toasted half slice that into two pieces and toasted it again. So it was crunchy not doughy. Ionly took two bites, it did the job got the taste and was full, I was also too afraid to have it get stuck. Thank God my daughter ate the rest.

I got the appt date so wrong, I am scheduled to see dr. on the 16th of Feb. not March. it will be only almost a month, dont know if he will fill or not. I am hungry, trying to make it till then. I had some fish last nite, it went down good, and at lunch i had a healthy choice meal, I chewed chewed, no problem......so maybe I need to get filled. I am trying to find ways to feel full??? any suggestions??:tongue_smilie:Patti
