Heatherooni 0 Posted January 31, 2009 Hi Everyone, I had my surgery on June 17th 2008, and I have the Realize Band. (A 10 cc Band) So far I've had 3 fills and I'm at 4 1/2 cc's. I'm going for my next fill in February.I 'm still losing, but I can tell I'm not at the sweet spot yet. Can you please tell me if you have the same band as I do, and when you felt you reached your sweet spot? Thanks Heather
kiz 1 Posted January 31, 2009 I have the Realize Band, and it's a 9cc band. I reached a point of very good restriction at between 8cc and 8.5cc. Along the way, I felt restriction, but at the 8cc point, I really felt like my hunger was very greatly reduced. However, I've read everything from no fills needed to 9cc's needed for good restriction. I think a lot depends on our anatomy and the amount of fat around our stomach. HeatherO 7 Posted January 31, 2009 My sweet spot where I lost most of my weight was 8.3 cc's.
jillrenee15 0 Posted January 31, 2009 I have the same band and was over filled this past week at 7.0cc. I am now at 5.75cc I think and will need to get back up to 6.5-6.75cc in the next month or so, very slowly. They will probably only give me .25cc at a time now. Thanks Heather Heather, there is a thread forum for the Realize band where lots of people posted information about the fills for this band. Maybe you will find more information.
