That's where Gloria Allred came into the picture. She apparently negotiated that deal (or at least is claiming credit for it). Heh.....Allred still cracks me up.

I was wondering that too. I just saw her on the Today's show and shes' representing Angel's in Waiting not the mother.

This case just gets weirder...why would the sperm donor come forward now? Because if he can have it proven that he is the donor, HIS book deal will be possible. If he gets ANY money from this, it should be placed into a trust for the children.

On the other hand - doesn't a sperm donor through a "bank" sign something that says they are not responsible for the children produced? If he did this without going through normal "channels" then what is his legal responsibility? Does he want the babies?

If I was his wife, I'd be furious - not just because he donated sperm to a MARRIED woman, but because he didn't tell me. You would think he would have given his wife the option of pulling back any remaining "deposits" so that she wouldn't have to worry about any future half-siblings!

I really hope she fades from view soon - all the notoriety (sp?) won't continue...she does not deserve the fame she's seeking, and I sincerely hope she does not get a SINGLE, SOLITARY book deal, movie, made-for-tv-movie, or anything else unless the income goes into a trust for the children.

She's just a disgrace, pure and simple...:w00t:

Fresh Intelligence : Radar Online

The Today Show had another segment this morning on Octomom with her mother (an heated argument/interview with Radaronline.com). The discussion was around how 'persuasive and wellspoken' Nadia sounds as she bulldozes her Mom in the interview (Mom is very soft spoken but tries hard to make valid points that Nadia just ignores). The point was that if you really listen to Nadia's words, they don't make and sense and she does not have a handle on the real world.

They also had Gloria Allred and the head of that 'Angels in Waiting' non-profit group. The Angels lady was a nurse and what they've offered Nadia is nursing care (that's what this group does) for pre-mature high-risk babies (which the 8 are). I give the woman kudos for also saying her concern is for the babies and they are offering this service, no matter whether the babies are with her, in foster care or adoptive homes even. She didn't mention the 'place to stay' being part of the offer, but other stories (Dr. Phil) said that. She did mention they sill need dontations to continue this care any length of time. Apparently they've given Nadia until Thursday to accept or reject their offer.

JMO- She needs to be hauled off to the funny-farm if she doesn't accept this.

*They also showed a clip from Oprah's show, airing today, with the Dad saying he believes she has mental problems.

She told him she had cancer , or so he says.

they also showed a clip from radar.online of an exchange between octomom & her mom. she talked to her mother horribly....she kept claiming over/over again that she had only 2 choices; have the children (embryos implanted) or destroy them. she actually had a third, and that would have been in donating them....

her poor mother looked awfully tired, told her daughter she needed to get help.....

i need to go to radar.online and watch that whole interview.

She's made numerous references to what was lacking in her upbringing, which is why she says she chose to have all these kids -- so that SOMEbody would love her. :w00t:

However, obviously she has no problem trashing mom all the while using her for her own benefit. When she's out running around the town, who the hell is watching those kids? Her mom, I would guess.

So... mom wasn't good enough for HER growing up, but so long as it benefits octotwat, mom's good enough for HER kids??

I don't know how they handle things in CA, but in TN if the mother is receiving any type of government assistance, they force the mother to tell who the possible father is for child support. If the father didn't have some type of legal agreement where he wasn't resposible for those kids, then he needs to start coughing up some cash to help those kids too. If he has insurance, they need to be added. He should not be able to get a pass just because he didn't know.

Yah, if octotwat is having children in the hopes of having creatures who will love her regardless, her plan, she will find out when they become teenagers, will have been in vain. She would be better off to adopt a dozen dogs or so from an animal shelter. I have cats; I am used to being shown the paw. LOL
