pluto 0 Posted January 28, 2009 I am very frustrated. Presurgery, I lost weight and after surgery, I lost weight. When I started back on normal food, no more weight loss. Now, I feel no restriction (except a rare moment) and no weight loss. I had my first fill six weeks in (surgery was Nov. 3). I go back next week. I have 4.5 cc's in a 10 cc band. Is it normal to have nothing happen until you find the right fill?
Jodi_620 37 Posted January 28, 2009 Yes it is normal. On average it takes four fills to really start seeing results. Taking it slowly with fills is the best way to go. Be patient, it will happen.
MTBiker 1 Posted March 11, 2009 I hadn't heard that about the 4th fill being the magic number. I hope its true, because I've been flat line since surgery on Nov 4th as well. Let's hope we both start seeing some progress!

pluto 0 Posted March 12, 2009 Not doubting the posts, but is this really true. I have found that I am struggling against the band, probably because I am hungry, third fill on Friday. I may have gained a few pounds since the 2nd fill. Feedback that this is normal and I will lose my 100lbs would be great to hear...if true... Thanks!
