Having lap band surgery on Feb 3rd

Hello everyone, I am new to this , my surgery date is in a week , my BMI is 29,2 I weigh 190 and I am 5f 7in

I am scared silly , what I am i to expect after the surgery. I want to loose at least 45 ibs to get to my IBW.

hi & welcome, i am 5 days post op & you are at a good weight so im sure you will come through like a breeze..though i did too..if you experience any gas pain walk as soon as you can..i was out of bed & walkin about 2 hours after the surgery to go to the toliet (with a nurse) to help..then i was sent home like 10 hours later, the car journey was uncomfortable & we stopped twice..i feel like i could do a run on my treadmill.. but i wont..i am also doing light cleaning duties now..
