riggsy 0 Posted January 24, 2009 Hello fellow Bandsters! So glad to have finally found a group. I was banded on December 11. I didn't have much trouble with the actual surgery, but got the flu immediately upon going home. Bummer! Missed all of Christmas in bed. Plus my blood sugar went way wacky on me. I have lost 25 lbs. so far, but look forward to the day when I can finally beat this diabetes thing. A couple of odd things about post-op. Anyone lose some of their sense of taste? Nothing tastes the same to me any more. A lot of my food cravings are gone too. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
smgrenier 0 Posted January 24, 2009 Oh man, bummer about gettng sick right after! I've had that also, some things I just can't eat anymore, they don't taste good. I no longer crave for bread, and if I do and I get a slice or a roll, I don't want it. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
