abby1 0 Posted January 17, 2009 While I won't get much sympathy from the rest of the country, and that is understandable, we are having a cold snap here in Florida. I am absolutely freezing. Now I've been here over 25 years so I am used to the weather, but I have never been this cold during a cold snap before. Are any of you finding that your more affected by the cold? Emilie1 3 Posted January 17, 2009 I am always cold also. I think it has something to do with the weight loss. Everyone I talk to about it says it is because I am smaller. Well I am not that small and I still have a nice(ha, ha) layer of coushion so I should not be that affected by a little cool weather. I hope it will be better next winter, and thank goodness we don't live up north. I may never come out of my bed.
Bunkey1965 2 Posted January 17, 2009 I am in San Diego and I am FREEZING. I attribute that to loosing my (not all) of my fat coat. This is my first winter that I have been this light in a long time. I am always cold.
Bunkey1965 2 Posted January 17, 2009 Now with my hanging belly I can at least tuck my fingers under it to warm them!
bigpapa2 0 Posted January 17, 2009 Well im here in Michigan and I'm very, very, very cold. its about 4 degress here and in the - teens with the wind factored in, but I must say that even before it became this cold I was very cold. The more and more weight I lose the more blackets i have to keep in my living room for me. I have also never worn house shoes before but now I go no where without them. I even take them on long trips to visit family and friends so they are ready for my tooties. So try and stay warm all you banders. And I will try that whole fingers under the belly trick. brendaanise 0 Posted January 17, 2009 I once asked my surgeon this question and the answer I got was that I was loosing weight soo fast that my body wasnt responding well to it. It was perfectly normal and would work itself out. I am ALWAYS cold and my daughter (I have an 11 year old) is always hot. I just put on more clothes and/or more blankets on the bed.
