How much longer?

I know this question has probably been answered a million times over, but if it has, I cant find the answer.

I had surgery July 28th. I feel really great except this annoying feeling on my left side! Kind of a dull pain but a pain none the less. Is it normal? How long can I look forward to having this annoying, kinda pregnant on one side feeling? What exactly is it???

I would appreciate any kind of help you can offer!

Not a doctor but I experience that feeling as well. I think its the sutchers(sp?) healing. It will eventually go away but I sometimes still notice it if I over eat so I'm not sure what that is all about. Mine feels sometimes almost like a pulling, like the muscles are being stretched.
