pchefmel 0 Posted January 14, 2009 Hi all, My name is Melissa, I was banded on 1/9. I am doing well, still sore at my port incision, but overall doing well. Looking forward to this journey. I had a little "buyers remorse" on fri and sat in the hospital and as I was trying to get myself up and down my stairs, but got over that - and now "my head is in the game." was happy to get in 56 gms of protien today - well, I'm working on a shake right now that will put me at that. I look forward to getting to know everyone

I look forward to getting to know everyone Melissa, Nice to here from you. glad your surgery went well. I have two weeks and I will have my surgery. I don't know if you have heard about making ice cubes out of milk and Protein powder. Mix your Protein Powder and milk and put it in ice trays and freeze. When you make your shakes in a blender this adds more Protein to your day.
