mayflower419 0 Posted August 2, 2005 Well its finally here and I'm sh&*%$$ my pants! I'm happy sad and terrified all at the same time. I really havn't been able to eat for 4 days. Who would have thought. Each time I try I'm in the bathroom 10 min. later. I know its all nerves. I have this fear that I will have all kinds of problems after the surgery and knowing that I did this to myself and I didn't have to. I have been reading way too much I think. I'm making myself sick. Every time I tell someone I'm doing this they ask me if I'm crazy that I'm not big enough to do something so drastic. I know if I could do this on my own I would have done it a long time ago. I'm 5'2" 211lbs. I have a very bad back and that is the main reason for doing this. I know in the long run I will be happier and healthier. I just need some reassurance. Has anyone out there had their surgery with Dr. Edward Mun in Boston. Ok enough rambling thanks for listening.
gunn4ya 0 Posted August 2, 2005 Mayflower, You're just like most of all of us -- nervous, scared and full of anxiety. It's all part of the process. Good luck with your surgery and we will see you in Bandland!
