No my bf hates my new body

I seriously thought you were being sarcastic.

Mine is scared that I'll lose my boobs...but otherwise, he's happy so far.

Nope. Unfortunately. But not because of anything other than the fact that our 2 1/2 year old DD is still in our room (her own bed tho). Her room is downstairs and we'd started remodeling it. I'm not ready for her to go down there by herself yet, so the fact that it's all torn up (and has been for some time) doesn't bother me too much. I do wish that she wasn't in our room but our house is laid out in such a way that it's just not ideal with small children. Master is upstairs with the main living area and the other 2 bedrooms are downstairs with another bath, along with the garage.

Still have your old baby monitor???? Just kidding.....

I can totally relate to this thread. I went from no sex.... literally.... I went like three years and could count on one hand..... to mind blowing sex OFTEN. My libido increased. His libido increased. My flexibility improved. My self image improved. My engergy level and playfulness. It ALL got better. It's like being in a new marriage!! God, I love my band.....

Ok, I think there may be something wrong with me. I was so hoping that my sex drive would increase as I lost weight. And nothing yet.

I am down 36 pounds feeling better about my body, I work out a lot, I'm more flexible and still not feeling the desire yet. My kids are pretty much grown so they are not a problem.

It just kills DH I would rather sleep than have sex. It's just getting started is where the problem is. Once it's going on it's all good just getting to get to that point is almost impossible.

Anyone else dealing with this type of issue?

My sex life has improved ten fold. I'm still not totally comfortable with myself but I'm gettin there.

Nessa I didnt notice a change until I'd lost about 50 pounds, so maybe your's just hasn't hit yet?

Mine came just like all of the sudden I felt like having sex again, being playful and flirty and I actually feel sexy now. It's bazzar but oh so wonderful.

SMS sorry hun. I wish I could offer words of wisdom.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
