BethFromVA 5 Posted February 25, 2009 I'm watching BL on DVR now and I'm just cracking up. I can't BELIEVE how f'd up these people are on this show! I guess since they are isolated from the real world, they lose their grip on reality. I mean, they are all bawling and having an emotional melt down because they switched teams and trainers? C'mon people! Bob crying really takes the cake. It's just disgusting! Omg, thank you. When they showed clips last week of Bob crying, I thought somebody DIED! And then to watch and it's only switched teams?!?! Omg, dude, GROW A SET!!

gone 4 ever 6 Posted February 25, 2009 (edited) I'm just cracking up. I mean, they are all bawling and having an emotional melt down because they switched teams and trainers? C'mon people! Bob crying really takes the cake. It's just disgusting! I agree Donna. I called my DS and was telling her "they need to get over it". I am getting so irritated with Bob this season. Jillian had it right when she said Bob would have a melt down. Aw, c'mon. That one ex-blue dude pissed me off though, when he was claiming he just couldn't work out fully with Jillian. Get over yourself and lift the dang weights. I agree Manatee. I hope she works him into the ground! Then let him say he can't work out fully with Jillian. OMG...why are they all so broken up?This is a chance to shake up your workout, to learn a different methodology, and get yourself out of a rut - to learn something new about yourself and push your limits. If it was me, I'd be cheering like Brown son - Jillian has had the winners for the past TWO seasons - hello!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Why would I NOT want to train with her? Obviously, what she is doing works! ! Very well put Ebony. I agree with you 100 % Edited February 25, 2009 by gone 4 ever
Saundra 0 Posted February 25, 2009 I like the blue guys but if they don't want to give there all anymore they are only hurting themselves. I think though after the challenge last night that will change, they are there to loose and keep ot lost and they said so. I liked the young boys attitude, I think he will start doing much better even though the last coule of weeks have been pretty good for him. I also think Jillian loves to win as much as Bob and while she likes to say fine its your body I figure she took it easy on them last night but we will see her normal style tonight. Ball busting Jillian at work.
georgia girl 35 Posted February 25, 2009 btw - tara is a rock star.won the mud contest & rode the most miles....she's on a mission. Totally agree....she ROCKS! When they showed clips last week of Bob crying, I thought somebody DIED! And then to watch and it's only switched teams?!?! Omg, dude, GROW A SET!! LOL! I'm with you. I thought it was ridiculous! I mean, Bob doesn't even get THAT upset when one of his own goes home! It's not like he won't get to see them still. GEEZ! I think that's why I tend to favor Jillian. Yeah, she didn't like it, but she didn't go all soap opera on us. She dealt with it and moved on!
kiz 1 Posted February 25, 2009 Omg, thank you. When they showed clips last week of Bob crying, I thought somebody DIED! And then to watch and it's only switched teams?!?! Omg, dude, GROW A SET!! Beth, you crack me up!! :tt2: Last night was the first time I've ever seen the show. I didn't see the first few minutes, and I didn't know for a bit why Bob was crying. OMG ... that was insane. It's nice that he cares, but good grief, the crying was overboard, and I can be an emotional kind of gal. I wonder how he'd react if something really tragic happened. The 24 hr cycling was a great challenge. It made me work harder on my elliptical this morning. I'm glad they stuck it out.
MacMadame 81 Posted February 25, 2009 I think that's why I tend to favor Jillian. Yeah, she didn't like it, but she didn't go all soap opera on us. She dealt with it and moved on! She had her hissy fit last week when they had to workout without a gym. I think she's just as psychotic as Bob. It just comes out in different ways.
Angelyco 0 Posted February 26, 2009 Just found this thread tonight! Strange, nobody posted yet after tonight's show...but I, for one, am incredibly extremely amazingly TICKED off! I can't believe who they sent home tonight...we all know who should have went. I won't spoil anything specifically in case some of you haven't watched it yet! But you'll know what I mean when you see it... And yes, Tara is my hero
Manatee 4 Posted February 26, 2009 Well.... There's been much said this season about how they are more 'real' and less game-play oriented than previous seasons. I understand that, but STUPID STUPID STUPID decision. All they did was guarantee that next week they'll end up voting off the one that should have gone now. Y'all are playing a game. Never forget it. A lot less 1 Posted February 26, 2009 I didn't get a chance to watch tonight, please tell me who got voted off, and who should have been voted off.
lindar172 1 Posted February 26, 2009 I agree, they voted off their best player. How Stupid. It will come back to haunt them.

Manatee 4 Posted February 26, 2009 SPOILER SPACE -- IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN IT <STOP> ok. Jillian proves the old Bear Bryant saying "I'll beat you with my team today, and I'll beat you with your team tomorrow.” A product-placement quiz gives the black team a 3 lbs pass that they end up not needing, because Jillian is a raging force of nature and even the (former) Big Blues are scared of her. At the weigh-in, Bob's team gets smacked down, with Brown Ripple Dad trailing behind as usual. In the meantime Dane has set some sort of record for losing 100 lbs faster than anyone. Of course, he started at about 700 lbs, but he carries it well on his 8'3" frame. Nevertheless, Bob's Boobs have to decide who goes home. Now, if I recall correctly, this is a game. With, ya know, a LOT of money at stake. And right now, it's a team thing, so Bob's team needs to step up, get that % weight loss thing happening, and start kicking ass. So, naturally, they decide.... To cry. Again. "I love my dead gay son," sobs Brown Ripple Dad. Or something like that. Somehow, The Stud Loser Dane becomes the target. I'm not sure how, but I'm certain it's because the Twit Twins (Andi, Mandi, Sandi, whateveri) have a thing for the Ripple Dad. Maybe he reminds them of their favorite stuffed bear. In any case, the crying continues into the Table Of Banishment scene, in which Bob's team decides to send home the athletic dude with the huge weight losses, and keep the guy who weighs 400 lbs and loses 5 lbs a week. For a total percentage weight loss of NOT FREAKING ENOUGH. Most people lose more weight with a good bowel movement. This of course means that Jill's team pretty much has the next few team competitions sewn up. The competition will get even weaker when Bob blows out that vein on his forehead at the beginning of the next episode, and drops dead on the spot. Maybe that's why TBL is looking for a new trainer? In the post-separation scene, Dane talks about how fabulous he's doing, and how he's been inspired to run a marathon. Funny thing, though, is that he didn't look that much smaller. Oh, and they didn't mention his weight. Oh, and one other thing? Turns out he didn't REALLY run that marathon after all. Take a look at the following link, near the bottom: Melancholy Smile: WE DID IT! Tune in next week when in an attempt to keep people interested despite the inevitable Black smack-down, the editors make it look like Tarrable walks out on Jillian. Yah. Right. The chick is a MACHINE.
plain 12 Posted February 26, 2009 "I love my dead gay son," sobs Brown Ripple dad. You worked a quote from Heathers into that? Dude.....that's awesome.
