DMJC 9 Posted January 2, 2009 (edited) Hello, I just made the decision to get the band surgery to aid in my Quest to lose weight. I just turned 41 and have about 130 lbs to lose. I have been exercising for the last two years and have not lost more than 10 lbs. I have lost several inches over my entire body but the numbers on the scale has not moved much. I have been researching this for several years and I feel now is the right time to do it. I have selected a doctor and checked my insurance. I am working on my referral from my primary care doctor. If everything goes right I should be right for surgery in early March. I would like to talk to other people in my area who have pointers or tips for me. I will be going to Dr. Wood at Harper Hospital in the DMC. Edited January 2, 2009 by DMJC
