I have that game, it is awesome. I am assembling a bunch of fitness items for after I get my band in March. I have Jillian Michaels game also. The exercise physiologist from the nutritionists office gave me a c-d they did with 3 types of exercises on it, resistance bands, chair, and balance exercises. Anyway the Outdoor Challenge is the first in a series of games. More to come.

Do you need the wii fitness to use the outdoor adventure? I got my sons the wii for Christmas but do not have the fitness or balance board yet so just wondering if I need to get both or get one then the other. I was already planning on getting the wii fitness this January.

No you don't need the balance board. Outdoor Adventure uses a pad much like Dance Dance Revolution but built for 2 people. I havent gotten the fit yet, I still have a few more pounds to loose before I can meet the 300 lb weight requriment hopefully I'll be ready in a few more months.

I am really excited now! I have wanted something fun to do on the days I don't get to go and workout and something that offers more than just watching the same people do the same thing. With this even though it is the same game you change and get better and can interact with it. That is one of the reasons I like the wii sports now, because I am moving jumping around and can interact with the "players"

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
