BubblyBandit 0 Posted December 22, 2008 I was just banded on 18 so I know how you feel! I did weigh myself already and i'm down another 4lbs! That is a total of 16.4lbs since the optifast! only 99.8 to go! I am excited to. The other night I saw a girl in a short jean skirt and I wanted it so bad. But just think in a year I will be able to wear it!

Pink101 0 Posted December 22, 2008 Hi Newbie, How are you feeling? I've been wanted to get banded for a while now but i'm still looking for a surgeon. Is it painful? How long do you think it'll take to get back to work? Do or did you feel weak? I'm sorry for asking all these questions:blushing: but i really want to get as much information as i can so i can know what to expect. Thanks
sqlchick19 0 Posted December 27, 2008 It's been exactly ONE week since the surgery, and I am feeling GREAT! I needed pain killer for 2 days (in the evenings I would tend to get sore)...and that was it. I have spent the last couple of days shopping, with family, etc...and I've been just fine. I think I could EASILY go back to work right now. The surgical tape for 2 of the 5 incisions has already fallen off...which is good. I was very "tight" for this week, but I guess as the stomach swelling goes down...I am starting to feel a little hungry. Still on Soups, slimfasts, liquids, etc. Until Tuesday...then a graduate to purees. Feel free to ask away. I was a NUT when I was researching this...and asked a million questions...I'm happy to pay it forward. xo, Jody
