andylou 0 Posted December 21, 2008 Ok so I am new to this forum and ready for a new life! I have been overweight all my life and am tired of the 30lbs lost and gained plus some over and over again!! I have some questions for those that have had this done. First off has anyone dealt with TLCedge group in the Dallas area? I am planning on doing the self pay option because I have no co-morbid issues and a BMI of 36. Also I have no PCP (mine just recently moved out of state), is a PCP required for the self pay option? *susan* 1,709 Posted December 21, 2008 Hi Andy, and welcome. I was self-pay as well, and did not have a PCP. So, hopefully you should be fine as well. Check out our doctors and hospital forums, as well as the local Texas forums. I am sure you will find people there that have experience with the surgical group you are planning on using.
