tammar 0 Posted August 19, 2009 I hit another big milestone today. I officially fit into jeans I can buy at a normal store (Old Navy). I didn't have to go to a big people store!!! Yay for me!!!
sk27 0 Posted August 19, 2009 Wow! CONGRATS Tammar!! That's got to be an awesome feeling!! I'm pretty jealous, but the good kind of jealous On a side note: I just did the Biggest Loser Yoga, and Bob from BL literally kicked my ace all the way around the house. A few times I thought I was going to either collapse or break something, but he kept telling me I could do it - and I did! So if anyone is yoga-inclined and looking to have someone make them feel like they're temporarily being hit by a bus - go for this one! k.
divaofhighmaintenance 0 Posted August 19, 2009 Tammar that's wonderful! What an accomplishment! I've often thought that I am so used to just shopping in the Big Girl Stores, I would have no idea what stores to go to when I got down in weight. I remember reading about a lady who just cried when she got into a mall because she was thinking that she could now go into any store she wanted and get her size. That's you Tammar!!! Fabulous. You are an inspiration to those waiting to be banded!

divaofhighmaintenance 0 Posted August 22, 2009 Last night, I went to Maples to see the dietician and find out everything in readiness for Sept 29. Couldn't believe that they were still operating at 8:30 pm! Ordered and received some awesome books from Chapters on Lapbanding. One is a cookbook for after Weight Loss Surgery. It details when you could eat this recipe and how much lap banders could eat of it. divaofhighmaintenance 0 Posted August 24, 2009 Let me know how you are. I'll be you on Sept 12. Did you buy a Magic Bullet to help froth up the Meditrim mixture? Did you have Protein Bars in your pack? I only have shakes for the 2 weeks. Guess we will look forward to the 2 cups of veggies we can have daily!

HA HA HA good luck to me but i knew that when i started this thing. i lost 30 pounds before the fill and five so far since. would like to know how everyone else is doing with their weight loss. how's it going? is everyone exercising? i can't seem to get my ass going. I thought the band was supposed to make you want to work out. moonbeam 1 Posted August 30, 2009 Hi All. Not going for a fill until next tuesday. Any word on the new Nurse at Maples? How she's doing? Last time I went I had to wait a couple of hours for the doc's as she couldn't do mine. I don't want a repeat of that again!
tammar 0 Posted August 31, 2009 I raised that concern with Jen, over the phone. She said that they're booking longer appt. with the nurse, so that she's not running late. She has more practice now, and more people aren't wincing as much...lol... I don't think I need a fill, so hopefully that will give her another 6 weeks practice before I need one...lol... I can update you all again tomorrow.

divaofhighmaintenance 0 Posted August 31, 2009 Congratulations on your progress! You are an inspiration to those about to be banded and those that are banded. Tell me, what would you eat on a typical day and what proportions/measures? I'm curious. Diva
