msvaldez 0 Posted December 18, 2008 Hi there, I just got my lap band on Dec 12, so it has been about a week now. I am excited and a little scared as well. I thought this would be easier, but I am still working through it. I am 29years old, married, with my high school sweet heart since I was 16. No babies yet, but hope to have some in the future. But I am putting my mind to it, I will get through this stage, and do it right!!!!!!!! Dont give in like me, its not worth it, trust me. annie0806 0 Posted December 20, 2008 this is kind of off the subject of just having it done, but if your insurance covered it - what insurance did you use? i can't find an individual plan (without going through an employers insurance) that will approve it?
