usxu001 0 Posted December 18, 2008 Hi There..I have been banded since Sept. 23rd 2008 and have lost a total of 36 pounds as of yesterday. I have lost 20 pounds since surgery and 16 pounds pre-op diet. I am loving my weight loss, and have had my 3rd fill yesterday. I have restriction, but I am still eating out of habit. I am not hungry in-between meals so I have to think about why I am eating when I do eat. Am I hungry or am I bored or is this just the normal time of day that I usually snack on something. When I focus on why I am eating I do really well with staying away from the foods that do no fuel my body. I am probably going to have a few more fills before I get to where I want to be at. I started in a size 22 and am down to a size 18 and some 16's. Snow ski season is going to start up and I am almost 40 pounds lighter than last year and my knees thank me.. :huh2:

WannaBSkinnyB 0 Posted December 19, 2008 I just was banded 11/19. So I guess I am worried. You only lost 20 pounds in 3 months? Have you had any fills? I am hoping to lose more weight than that with the band. I think it is great you have lost but just worried that I am not going to lose very much weight on this. usxu001 0 Posted December 19, 2008 Hi There.. Yes, I lost 14 pounds 1 1/2 weeks after surgery..It fell off right after surgery, but after I started eating chocolate and liquid calories, the weight didn't move..of course..It was all my doing. I have had my 3rd fill on the 17th of Dec. and it was a big one. I have lost 5 pounds in the last three weeks. Everyone loses differently. My sister in law has lost 37 pounds in 2 months. It is what you put into it and I am realizing it and am back on track. Please don't let my lack of motivation for a couple of months discourage you! You will do as good as your efforts! Now that I am back on track I have lost 2 more pounds since my fill on Wednesday! Slow and steady wins the race.. S
