chgobroker 0 Posted December 18, 2008 I'm 55 and have been trying for 4 years to get approved by Aetna, without success. My BMI is over 40 and I have arthritus and sleep apnea...still Aetna always declined. This Monday, 12/15, I had my lapband surgery done in Mexico by Dr. Lisa Maria Pompa Gonzalez, at LIMARP. I am on my second full day of recovery and feeling pretty good. I found the clinic and support staff very attentive and involved in your care. Her entire staff was very accomodating and supportive.
