For those of you who want to fit two fun things in on one day, check out my info on the scrapbooking our weight loss journey fun I'm sponsoring in Westerville, just off College Ave. and you could enjoy the fun from 10 am - 1:45 pm and still make it to this mall group get together by the 2pm start time.

PM me for details.

I'll demo from 10-11 am on how to use your computer to help do an album full of ideas, a coworker of mine is a Creative Memories consultant and she will take over from 11-12 noon, then the last 2 hours is hands on doing a project of your choice with our help to get you started.

Beginners and experienced type crafters both welcome and its free.

Linda

The mall is at the Polaris exit on I-71, one exit north of 270.

Where are you coming from?

I'm going to try to make it, however I'm not sure just yet.

We meet at the food Court and the most convenient place to park is at the northeast corner of the mall parking which is by Great Indoors. The entrance to the food court is right there.

We try to sit around the Chik-Fil-A corner by Great Indoors whenever we can.

I am happy to report that with the dedication to watching what I'm eating and lots of exercise this past week, the blip on the scale from the holidays has disappeared-- Yea!

I'm hoping to make it to the mall tomorrow but I'll check and see what the weather situation is by about noon and let you all know. Sometimes they say we'll get 3-5 inches and its really no big deal, other times, we get it harder than they thought. Oh well, it is Ohio and typical January that we're going to have some snow!

Yea, all that snow we were supposed to get never came... must of went somewhere else. I'm planning on being at the mall at 1:30 and have packed my bag for the gym for after. I can't wait to see everyone!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
