Hey friends! My name is Roxy and I will be banded in two days on the 16th! I am so excited, and its really cool to know that there are people who are on here that are my age! What should I expect the first few weeks? How much weight did you lose? Is there anyone on here from Alabama?

I'm getting my second fill on your surgery date. You should expect some pain on week one and gradually get better from there. I had my surgery on 10/27/08 and I've lost nearly 20lbs...some people have lost more...some less.

well, welcome and congrats on ur surgery date! i hope everything goes great! expect some discomfort the first few days, but after the first week you'll be fine. keep us updated on your progress!

      Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.
