Hi...This is my first post.

I have my first appointment at the mayo Clinic in Rochester,

Mn in February. Has anyone else gone to Mayo? I turn 50 in March of 2009 and have been 100 lbs overweight for so long. I have decided it is time to take hold of my life and start feeling better...any advise?

I am about 30 days ahead of you on the same big birthday and in the same frame of mind...this is MY year ( I think!) I am the very beginning stages and would love to stay in touch
