BigGurlX you are a FOOL!!! You hear me?!! A. FOOL. Lmao. :hurray:

I don't have anything extremely specific that I want to wear other than wearing the heck outta some cute bras and panties sets. I just know that I will be happy to have a bigger selection of clothing and a variety of stores to shop from. I am currently in a small town in GA and, as usual, it seems like all the big gurls all shop at the same 3 or 4 stores. It makes it look like we have a big girl uniformed services or something cuz all of us wear the same clothes!!

I would like to be able to dress lighter in the summer. I don't really have any desire to get into bathing suits or anything, but I would like to be able to wear decent summer clothes and feel comfortable in them.

I haven't posted in a while and this is a great thread to get back in the game. You ladies are hella funny. OK. Everyone that knows me know that I collect and am addicted to Authentic Juicy Couture-with my old azz.

Currently I have handbags, watches and Jewelry out the wazoo.

So... I would love a Juicy track suit and some bronze leather Ugg boots to go to wear on Saturdays. I reiterate-with my old azz.

I would also love to wear some pencil leg jeans and a crisp white blouse without looking like an egg with legs.

Holla!

I can't wait to wear hip huggers, u know, the correct way! (lol)! I want to wear the knee high pantyhose with the garter belt and not think about it poppin me in the chin from being bolted down!

LOL! Yes I am glad you said the correct way. I see plenty of women some of whom are not neccesarily that big do a great disservice to hip huggers.

Heels, a tank top, an actual swimming suit as opposed to shorts and a t-shirt, and a sexy bra and underwear set. And the biggest smile ever, reflecting my newfound confidence!

I agree with you all but I can not wait to not have to shop @ plus size stores. This will save me alot more money. I'm looking foward to wearing dresses in the summer as they are much more comfortable and cool.

I can't wait to get into a pair of stilleto's with a strap around the ankle, with my fat feet looking like Shaquill O Neal's foot.

you made me laugh, its sounds so like me. im a dressmaker and hate making all the beautiful gowns for all the skinny ladies i work for. i would love to wear any thing that has shape. i had my band july 08 and have lost 28 kgs. sometimes i hold the dresses up in front of me and try to imagine what i would look like but its very hard to imagine. It usually makes me more depressed that it wouldnt look good now even if i could get into them. flab city!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
