Huntersmommy 0 Posted December 12, 2008 Hi guys, I haven't been on here in a while. I go for my info seminar on Dec 16. I have BCBSNC insurance. As far as I can tell by my policy, they should pay. I have a dedectible that I will have to meet before they will pick up, but I was wondering.... I know that you have to have alot of tests, classes, and things to do befor surgery is scheduled. Do you pay for those things as they come along, or is it included in the total bill of surgery? I know this is probably an extremely dumb question, but I'm REALLY new at this. Thanks!!! dillon1205 0 Posted December 17, 2008 From what I know each pre operative test is all billed to you insurace at the time of service. The surgery is a completely different expense all together.
TQUAD64 9 Posted December 18, 2008 I have Blue Shield of California. My doctor visits are $15.00, which is my co-pay. I did not pay anything for my nutrition visits or any of the classes I was required to attend. My lab work and upper GI was covered and I did not pay anything for those procedures. My fills are $15.00, which is my co-pay to see the doctor. Only the doctor does the fill in my particular case.
