Wife and I banded on Dec 8th

The wife and I got team-banded on the morning of Dec 8th.

She hasn't woke up yet so I can't speak to her loss so far, but I was really shocked when I got on the scale - down to 271.2 from 279 - that's two days folks!

I'm sure that it's mostly Water weight, but I have tried clear-liquid diets in the past and never seen that much drop that quickly! (not that I am complaining!)

No physical hunger, but some of the stuff that my brother-in-law has been cooking for himself (he's here helping out for the first week) has smelled darned good!

Oddly enough, another craving has completely gone away - smoking. I had slowly reduced myself down to 1/2 pack a day, and then I smoked up until 4 days before the surgery and called it quits cold turkey. Smoking was all I thought about every time several times a day. Now, post banding, it doesn't even cross my mind! Go figure? Again - not complaining! I even had my friend fire up a cigarette last night on front of me just to see if it made me want one - nope!
