June 2008 banster!

Hello my name is Ashley, im from houston Texas, im 22 years old and a mother of one (daughter 2yrs old)

i was banded on june 16, 2008.. My Surgeon was Dr. Robert Marivn.

since june i have lost 62 llbs!! .. I have never been this small before as an adult! I feel that i am on my way to a better more confident me! IM LOVING MY BAND!! Plenty of people told me to do gastric bypass... because i wouldn't loose alot of weight on the lap band system, I was very nervous about that.. but it seems to be working out for me!

i would love to speak with anyone that was banded in june of 2008 to see how the progress is going.

Not to say i don't want to talk to anyone else, because i do!! please contact me.. i will have pics soon.. i don't have alot of before pics because i didn't like pics that much back then. well any how, i cant wait to hear from everyone. Thanks:biggrin:
