sensei 0 Posted December 5, 2008 20 so far. I went from 295 to 275. I am supposed to have my first fill on the 22nd. Right now I can pretty much eat anything...I just chew like crazy. Can't wait for the fill though. I feel like I'm on a diet again. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
doodlebugs 0 Posted December 5, 2008 I just joined this group today, and I was banded on Nov 26th, the day before Thanksgiving. I really didn't know what to expect. I had ice chips, Jello and broth in the hospital, and was told to have 4oz of some type of liquid every hour. After having, juice, V8, jello, pudding, yogurt, and popsicle for a week I was STARVING! My stomach made the most horrible sounds. I called the nurse and she told me that I could eat cream Soups if I have not be nausea or sick, which I hadn't. It really helped to eat something on the food line. I don't know if my band is filled with anything or not, and wasn't sure what to expect if I ate anything "real". I ate some pizza last night, 3 small pieces and it was SO GOOD, and then I felt SO BAD! I am still full today from it, but it helped some to eat it, to know that I can't eat like I used to. I go to the Dr on Monday and really don't know what to expect. I am going to ask if he filled my band any and what size band I have. I love this website! downsouth 0 Posted December 8, 2008 (edited) I was at 291 and dropped to 270 pretty fast but I have not lost anything the last two weeks. I am walking about 2 miles a day plus so toning exercises so maybe I am building muscle. I don't go back to the DR until Dec 30 and then maybe get a fill. I would just like to see the pounds start dropping. I been very good about my eating. Did great during Thanksgiving.
