morning ladies!!

OMG SO HAPPY ITS FRIDAY!!

I need my nails done, one is half off and i had to wear a bandaid lol im having a hell of a time typing.

I am also super hungry but I forgot to chill my Atkins shake, so its in the freezer...HUUUURRRRYYYYYY LOL

how is everyone else?

Boy it took me a long time to catch up with the late nighters. I am on a furlough Friday so I'm at home - of course I still had to get up at 6 am to get my boys ready for school and I'll be taking my daughter to school at 8:45 - then it's off to Curves and Walmart.< /p>

You guys are so funny - he's not my boyfriend, I just wish he was. I had sent him an e-mail at school yesterday letting him know I was going to help out in class this afternoon and did he want me to bring some lunch when I came. I confirmed with him after school and I am bringing Subway for him and my daughter at 12:40- she will go to the lunchroom and I will eat lunch with him in the classroom - still haven't figured out what I can eat from Subway - Soup? Back to School night went fine - nothing personal though as all the other parents were there. It was nice to see some of the parents I hadn't seen since school got out. Came home and vegged - still had to go to bed early - woke up at 3 am and couldn't go back to sleep until 4:20 am - egads.

So are we meeting at 10 am tomorrow at Kaiser for a walk before the meeting? I will be there with my walking shoes on. I am also going to lunch afterwards with whomever can make it.

I'll check back in after I get home from Walmart.

Candra don't tell Liz/Robin that you are doing Atkins shakes!!

Pam Subway will make any of their sandwhiches into a salad for an extra $2 - it's a rip-off but you get LOTS of good vegies, enough for 3 meals if you don't ruin the whole thing with dressing . . . .

Tina & Nicole, you guys FLOOR me!

Chris you are going to make your Halloween goal for SURE! Look at you go!

I'm going to be offline Saturday thru most of Tuesday, in Oregon no access, so nobody panic about my not posting!

Donna you're going to do GREAT Saturday, just like last time! You're a natural :(

Hi girls!!!

Wow last night i musta been on an energy high lol with no food other then Soup lol oh my. Thats why nicole doesnt stay up past 12.. (I blame it all on donna and tina lol)

Atkins drinks yucko.. yeah i agree dont tell liz.. oh boy that would be no fun:D

Pam, I wouldnt do their soup, cause youd be hungry sooo soon. What you could do is get a kid size meatball sandwhich and just eat the meatballs.. yummy and our servings.

I am soo proud of everyone, we are all doing so great. What is everyones wish to be for halloween???

Pam, i believe so far Me, Tina, and you are walkin saturday. Everyone else who can make it let us know:D Its a good way to get in a lil bit of walking and gabbbin:D

Too funny Nicole, I'm sitting here eating sugar free applesauce as I type. I just couldn't wait anymore. I always do a day of really easy foods the day after a fill...don't worry, I normally never eat the stuff!

It's funny though, I'm using a baby spoon and have had maybe ten bites (it's 1/2 of applesauce) and I already feel pretty full! I haven't even eaten 1/8 of the cup yet! I think I might like this.

Also, I have no energy for a morning workout with no food in me, but I did walk Sophie to school and back and that's a little over a mile.

I'll probably do a more decent workout on the bike or treadmill later this evening when I've eaten and have some more energy.

Morning all - Riley - i'm not doing Atkins shakes, I love real food waaaayyy too much. Have fun in Oregon.

I'll be at kaiser Pt West at 10:00 am with my walking shoes on and ready to eat after!

Nicole - got some applebottom capri's for you - size 10. I got them form my RNY friend that is back up to 14/16 - so sad!

Ok - so I'm afriad to say this because I'm not sure how accurate it will be - don't want to jinx it!! Besides, looking at the pic of me at Reggies i don't see how it's possible!!! I haven't weighed myself since last Saturday morning - then I was 200.6 - since then I haven't exercised or been eating so great - i pigged out at Reggies - had leftover sweet potatoes the next night - made fauxtatoes and ate on them for dinner two nights in a row - mind you I make them with full cream (less carbs) and real butter - just a tad! Anyway - I jumped on the scale today to see how bad it was going to be worried about my appt on the 31st - this morning my scale said 198.6 (twice!)- WTF? How can that be right?

Ok ladies I'm doing big things today. I was able to get a hair appt this morning so I'm sitting here with dye on my head (hiding the grays) lol

downloaded lapband talk mobile as well as YIM mobile woo hoo! So just in case my YIM name is sma11erj.

I'm doing Atkins shakes but only to help get me to surg goal weight, but don't tell Liz.

Ok time to get this stuff washed out.

Candra maybe you re-jumped your motabolism however you spell it!! :( thats awesome WHOO HOOO!! I am so glad I am not the only one who gets off, then gets on the scale again just to make sure I am not seeing things!

So only 2 things arent normal my testosterone lol still way low.. and my folic acid.. ok so why do i feel like crap. I wonder if it is menopause lol. Ok well good to know its not my blood!!! And im not diabetic. That really was pissing me off. lol

Mike asked if im pregnant, i said i dont think that is possible. BUT, for the first time in 3 yrs i got a 1 day period, and then yesterday i spotted.. so i dont know whats goin on.

      Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
      1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

        All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

      I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
