Christine - I will check again with Dr. Im - maybe there is a better explanation. I was on my Clear Liquids until about 12:30 today and then had non fat frozen yogurt as I didn't have anything else soft. I had a regular yogurt about 4 pm. I am going to try tuna with mayo tomorrow. I told Robin no way could I only eat 1/4 cup and she said that is alright - 1/3 is fine.

Riley - can you stretch and eat your lunch at 1 pm instead of 12? Maybe that will help. I have a bottle of Water when I get to work at 6:30 am, then I eat my Breakfast at 7 am and my lunch at 11 am. My problem time is when I get home around 3:30 from picking up kids - too early to eat dinner but I am really hungry. I usually eat dinner around 5:30 and go to bed by 9:30. I am going to buy some more little containers and prepare food for the whole week at once so I can just grab a container three times a day. I'll give it a try. I was down 2 1/2 lbs this morning from yesterday morning. 216.5.

I haven't been thirsty any more than normal. I'm still just drinking my usualy 64+ oz a day.

I was thinking we should do a daily food post so we can be accountable for our snacking and head hunger...want to? Here's mine for the day:

b-1/3 cup cream of wheat w/ 1 tsp Peanut Butter in it

l-2 string cheese sticks and 1 oz almonds

d-1/2 cup turkey chili and 1/4 cup peaches and pears

snack--Sophie and I were swimming for 4 hours today and we shared an ice cream bar at the pool. It was 250 cals and I had about 1/2 of it. I deserved it though, I worked out like a crazy woman this morning and then swam for 4 hours with her. Those calories were HECKA burned!

I have been so happy today with how little I'm eating and getting full and STAYING full with. It's like the old days in the first few weeks after surgery! I'm loving my band now that it's finally working for me.

Ooh, you guys! I just made up a really good iced Decaf coffee recipe, it's not bad!

2 tsp decaf INSTANT coffee

1 tsp (to taste) sugar free vanilla Syrup (I use Torani)

3 TBSP warm Water

--put first 3 ingredients in a shaker and shake to dissolve

Fill glass with ice. Pour coffee into glass. Top off with 1 cup fat free milk and stir.

I really like it! It's only 80 cals (only the cals of the milk) and it's 8 grams of Protein.< /p>

Hey ladies,

I have restriction. Boy do I have restriction.............

I tried dinner twice neither time worked but I am not hungry. I finally had a protien bar and I am keeping that down and am feeling full.

MENU:

B. Protien shake: Slimfast strawberry!! YUM 180 Calories

L. Lentils 3/4 cup-140 calories or a bit less cause I didn't eat the whole cup

D.Tried to eat the inside of a burrito-PB'd it up

Db Tried to eat some crackers and cheese a couple of hours later and PB that up too.

Dc. Ate a protien bar and that is staying down-180 calories and really full now. (not to tastes 30grams of Protein so on the dry/bland side but FULL so yah!!)

Water 64 ounces easy. Nicole I am so, so, so thirsty the last week since I switched back to water. I can't get enough. I hear ya. I drink all day long. Fasting yesterday for the weigh in didn't help me being thirsty.

I drink 120 ounces a day so barely made that today and yesterday.

candy I hear you about the pain if you eat to much I get that to. Mine goes from the band all the way down to the port when I eat to much. Weid I know. I sometimes wonder if the full pushes some of the Fluid back into the port area and that is what hurts.

I love my band to. But was in tears today the third time I PB'd. I am really tired and frustrated today with life nothing to do with the band and than the band is really talking to me today!!

Thanks Dr. Baggs for only putting in .5ccs. Blessing in disquise!! I just hope this last more than a few days.

I also think if I ate certain things like salad the band might now work as well. But who knows Riley could barely eat her salad today. I haven't tried that yet.

I am down 1 pound today so crossing my fingers the plateau is broken!! :-)

Nicole I have thought about that and I think I have to stay at 1/4 no matter how hungry I think I am. I can't PB this much the band will slip. I worred about it to. WHich is why I try really hard to walk it off instead of giving in the instant relief of the PB................

I think I have to get strict on the 1/4 cup period. Hard knocks but I think that is some of what Liz and Robin where saying if it isn't work what am I doing doing wrong? Trying to eat to much or the wrong thing.......like LOL burrito!! Flour tortillas even one bite I know better!!

Ok ladies here is the thing for me I don't exercise enough so maybe we should post what we did for exercise everyday...........I will be the first to admit except for mowing the lawn I didn't exercise today. I really HATE exercise and I really have to step it up this month!!

After I am done I feel great but getting to the gym is such a pain...........I want a bike or treadmill at home but so expensive!!

Tina, I wonder if you have too much Fluid in your band? Maybe he should've taken .5 OUT instead of putting it in. I hope you get it figured out soon. Also, you only ate about 450 cals today, if that. You could be stuck on a plateau from having too LITTLE calories. You need to fuel your body for it to work for you.

Good idea about the exercise log too! We should do both food and exercise at the end of every day. I already did my food one, but here's my exercise:

15 minute "I Want Those Arms" video with 8 lbs weights, 30 minutes on the bike, 15 minutes ball work for abs and thighs=1 hour total

Saw my PCP & officially started my 6 month supervised diet 07/26/24. She just told me to eat less carbs & sugar, use the air fryer and not fry my foods in grease, and to try to walk 30 minutes 3 days a week & if I can't do that (and I cannot), to walk 10 minutes daily. Told me to walk fast enough that my heart rate is raised.  She didn't give me a number as far as calories though. A year or so ago I was doing low carb/sugar free and keeping my calories at 1800 or below. She said I should up my cals to 2000 at that time, so that's what I'm shooting for now.
Hubby walked with me today. He's in pretty bad shape so I was surprised he wanted to. We walked down the gravel road at a pretty good pace (for us LOL). 10 minutes walking and my heart rate was 115bps according to my Fitbit and 125bps according to his pulsometer. Either way, it was elevated and I was breathing hard. Doesn't sound like a lot, but it's a start. We'll do it again tomorrow. 😁
I should be hearing from the surgeon soon. She said if I didn't, to call him next week. Since I HAVE to do the 6 month diet & that's going to put me into January by the time it's done, I'm hoping the surgeon will let me do all my testing in January. I don't want to do it all now and have my deductible get met, only to have to pay the deductible again in January or February for my surgery. Praying that things go the way I hope. 🙏

Health Consciousness: The increasing awareness among individuals about the health issues linked to high sugar consumption, such as obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases, is supporting the market growth. Consumers are becoming more health-conscious and seeking products that can provide sweetness without the negative health effects associated with sugar. This shift in consumer preferences is leading to a greater demand for low-calorie and natural sweeteners like stevia, monk fruit, and erythritol. These sweeteners offer the added benefit of having minimal impact on blood glucose levels, making them suitable for diabetic and health-conscious individuals.
Technological Advancements: Innovations in the production and formulation of alternative sweeteners are impelling the market growth. Advancements in biotechnology and food science are leading to the development of high-intensity sweeteners with improved taste profiles and functional properties. Innovations in fermentation processes enhance the production efficiency and quality of natural sweeteners like stevia and monk fruit. These technological improvements are making alternative sweeteners more appealing to both manufacturers and consumers. Enhanced stability, solubility, and sweetness intensity allow these sweeteners to be used in a wide range of products, ranging from beverages to baked goods.

Besides this, there is an increase in the demand for low-calorie and sugar-free alternatives that support weight management and overall wellness.
