he did, a very hard one. I feel bad for his kids, but at least his brothers/sisters, mom and Joe Jackson were by his side.

Also sad re: Farrah Fawcett & Ed McMahon! But I'm the old one here, LOL. I had my hair like hers, only darker obviously . . .

OK so maybe I did go by starbcuks and get a Decaf sugar free cinnamon dolce soy latte, which was maybe delicious at least the first half which is all i can drink without getting full! Avoiding anything like "full" liquids like the plague, but God I was SO starving!!! Much worse than the last 2 times, now why is that do you think?

Farah Fawcett?? really?? Ed McMahon I liked too!!

MIcheal Jackson was strange but I think he had a very very hard life. I don't agree with much of what he did and was about but he started out with promise anyway.........just sad.

Riley I can drink the same as yesterday nothing has changed. I don't feel a thing. Not full at all and not much funnel. Nothing hurts, I don't feel full. It might be another 4 weeks of willpower. Last time I knew right away something was different. Right away!!

I think you RILEY might be at your sweet spot!! Amazing at 5cc's !!

I will be excited to hear how it goes with everyone's fills this month.

By the way (Riley/Jane) Liz was asking me about my support system, support groups and of course I mentioned everyone and Kaiser West point. I said Jane and are both vegetarian and like joking around so we have alot in common. Dr. Baggs jumped in and told me keeping in contact with Jane is a very good thing for you to do. I encourage it :-) Compliment. I think maybe he thinks you can teach me a thing or two since you have lost so much and you like exercise and I don't!! LOL.

Oh they want us all to keep up with and encourage one another! It is one of the best indicators of success you know, right after losing weight before the surgery. We ARE their rockstars, they said so!

Speaking of rockstars, I am so bummed that I missed the official Dr. Baggs rockstar greeting in the lobby this morning!!! Poor guy . . shy but loves it!!!

My 2nd fill, I felt the funnel on my way home, by the next day I felt NOTHING, and then about 5-6 days after, WHAMMO and you remember, I was PBing several times a day for a week! He actually said that it happens a lot that way. Then I got to onderland and it stopped, then I went to NASCAR and partied for 5 days and gained some lbs. back! I was down 5# today from my last fill 5 weeks ago, I told him I start gaining again right before a fill, he says I am supposed to call him if that happens for a sooner fill! So we will see.

Tina, don't forget! It can take a couple of days for your fill to take effect and for you to notice a real difference. That's what Dr. Baggs told me last time.

I'm not in any of the pictures because I was TAKING the pictures - LOL.

I was socked to hear about Michael because it wasn't expected but Im VERY VERY SAD FOR FARRAH! Also, a little annoyed that they have overlooked her in light of Michaels death - like he was/is so much more important than her. I just feel like she lived a decent, respectable life and deserves recognition for that!

OMG, Nicole, I didn't even think about the whole fill in the dress thing - funny - hope you had your cutest panties on LOL Your daughter is adorable - keeping my fingers crossed that you get that job and Mike gets one soon!!

Tamra - good for you - being diligent got you a sooner appt! 1 step closer!!! whoop whoop

Thanks, Tina, for looking out for me with Robin - I think she kept passing me over because she doesn't know me/my name. I would've liked to have gotten one of those packets she was giving out to see what it was all about so maybe you can fill me in. I hear Liz tell you that you couldn't bring me in - she doesn't want to scare me out of getting banded is all - she called me on my cup of coffee LOL

I met pam (momc03) today - she came by after she saw Robin and dr. Im - she told Robin that everybody thought she was mean - LOL. She didn't seem so mean today but I could tell she was getting frustrated with Cassandra.

Pam, tell them about how much your band has and actually holds!

Liz wants us to get together to do activities - not eat LOL LOL Riley & Christine will have to lead those get togethers.

Oh cool! I found my closer class at the Vallejo one..LOL..for a quick second I thought about calling Fairfield, but that's alittle to drastic lol...

Candra maybe it depends on the generation, etc. For me I heard Farrah died and thought that's sad. But Micheal really effected me! I don't even know what she is from, besides Charlies Angels.....I dunno

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
