I was also thinking these would be incredibly high in sugar. Not something that would help you to lose weight.

Just use the frozen turkey meatballs (or homemade if I have time) and use sugar free grape or apple jelly and sugarfree BBQ Sauce. They are awesome and much lower in carbs. I make homemade turkey meatballs with package of ground turkey, 2 eggs, 1 onion, chopped, 1 green pepper, chopped, splash of milk, panko bread crumbs, black pepper, salt & garlic (about tsp of each), form into balls and bake in the oven at 350 for about 20 minutes. They are awesome and I just freeze the leftovers.
