My name's Karen and I was banded by Dr. Lopez in Tijuana on March 28th of this year (2003). I started my banded journey at around 230 lbs. but was about 20 pounds heavier earlier in my life.

I'm down about 40 lbs. so far and absolutely loving my band!

I have about 40 more pounds I'd like to lose to reach my goal of 150 pounds. I do have a website for those of you who are interested. I update my journal when my two very active children allow me to!

Happy to have discovered this site!

It's nice to "meet" you. Congratulations on your weight loss and new life!! I'll bet your two very active children are thrilled to bits that you're losing weight and getting more active too. That's what I'm most looking forward to myself!

If you look at the very bottom of your post you'll see a line that has the date and time and then you'll see a string of gray buttons. It's one of the gray buttons. Those people who have websites will have an additional "www" button that you can click to access their website.

Welcome to this forum - glad to see you here. I really like this format better than the Yahoo groups.

Thanks Donali! It's always great to see you all! Your mother is such a sweetie! I'm surprised she didn't turn 10 shades of red with some of the stuff we were talking about!
