At my first fill a little over a week ago the doc had me sit up with needle still in my port and drink some Water. He asked me if it felt like it was backing up in my throat or if it was kind of painful in my chest. At the point that there was a little backing up in my throat I told him so. However, now I'm wondering if I was being too cautious. Can anyone describe the feeling you have drinking the water when you have proper restriction?

First off its ALWAYS better to be TOO Cautious than to not be. EVERY TIME you PB your putting you band at risk for a slip !

So being a little cautious is ok. Second of all you should not feel ANYTHING when you drink water , if you do your too tight !

I can all but guarantee you if you had left that fill like that you would have been back in for an unfill shortly !

If i have good restriction I feel NOTHING When i drink liquids after my fill !
