Hello to everyone. My name is Dawn I'm in Indy and will be banded on 1/06/09. I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm really excited about this life changing experience. My Dr's office sent my paper work to insurance comp on the 30th of Oct and I was approved on the 4th of Nov. I was expecting to have to go through several hoops to get this approved but I didn't. I'm ready and very very excitedd. I have also stopped smoking which I'm also very proud of (thank God for Chantix) Look forward to meeting you all.

Hello Dawn. Congrats on kicking the smoking. That is great! I'm getting banded a couple weeks behind you but I'm proud to be another January bandster. Good luck on your journey to a healthier and slimmer you.

      Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.
